SPEX Documentation¶
Welcome to the alpha version of the SPEX X-ray spectral fitting software. This program is used in X-ray astronomy to analyse spectra from X-ray telescopes, like XMM-Newton, Chandra and XRISM. SPEX is optimized to fit high-resolution spectra from gratings and micro-calorimeters.
